About me:

I’m Sophie, a People Leader at HENSLEE, based in Los Angeles, CA, on Tongva and Chumash land. I am passionate about supporting and empowering others to do and be their best at work. My experience ranges from Human Capital Consulting at Deloitte, to being the first People/HR hire at two early-stage startups, to leading people operations at Upfront Ventures, where I supported over 50 early-stage startups. My most treasured experience has been the opportunity to live in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East where I worked with with globally diverse teams. Trough this journey, I have developed pattern recognition for the challenges teams face when scaling a business, across several industries and cultures, and have created resources and frameworks to support them.

A true extrovert, I gain energy when supporting others in their growth and successes. I believe my purpose in life is to help others discover and reach their potential.

My coaching approach incorporates a dynamic mix of methods, blending coaching, mentoring, and advising to meet my clients where they are. I place a strong emphasis on understanding and overcoming limiting beliefs, navigating and harnessing emotions through a practical lens, and strengthening communication skills to effectively manage up, negotiate, delegate, and lead with confidence.
